This is not your sisters Jeep. This was a body off restore 3 years ago. Driven approx. 2,000 miles since.I rebuilt this jeep for myself anddrive it all the time. It just won the judges choice award at a recent car show and draws a crowd where ever I go. All wheel, xle, nd driveline bearings and sealshave been replaced.I don't tolerate leaks. All brake shoes and seals are new. Clutch, ressure plate and through out bearinghave been replaced. The engine was overhauled before I got the Jeep butI tore it down and went through it. (It had been overhauled) I resealed the motor and installed a GM style one wire alternator and a new water pump. Has new battery and rebuilt radiator. The Jeep came from Montana. These are rare vehicles especially in this shapeas they were only built for 2 years andlots of them ended up in the rusty areas of theU.S. All the seats have been re upholstered to the exactdesign as they came from the factory. Rims and tires are new.4x4 works perfect. I'm very comfortable selling this Commando to anyone including friends or family. It dose have a 2" lift kit and a roll bar. The winch works perfect and the front bumper is also an air tank. Receiver type hitch. It is not wired for trailer lights or towing lights. Tow bar is included and mounts to the front bumper with pins. Off road lights. New stereo and 4 speakers. Undercoated and bed liner. I also have the original station wagon top that goes with the Commando that is in good shape but will need paint. The gas gauge works intermittently due to the faulty plug end at the instrument cluster. If you want a super clean dependable jeep this is it. And yes, his could be your sisters Jeep. Good luck. Keep looking, also have a 1919 490 Chevy curved top canopyfor sale.
