Description of 1979 Jeep Cherokee

1979 Jeep Cherokee4X4What can I say about this old off road machine that you can't see in the pictures? It has lived it's life in the great American Southwest. That means it a very sold almost rust free vehicle. With a 360 ci V8 engine that starts & runs very good with no exhaust leaks what so ever & a turbo 400 automatic transmission. this truck can go just about anywhere. Front & rear axles were recently rebuilt & both are limited slip. 2 high. 4 high & 4 low gears work great. This old Jeep is almost the same as the day it left the factory. We all know that's hard to find. The original front seat was removed & a more modern one was put in it's place. The rear seat is original & is in great shape. I will say a few negative things about this vehicle. The tires are not in great shape. The original front & rear bumpers have been replaced with some extremely heavy duty bumpers. Depending on what you are looking for. that may be a good thing. or a bad thing. It is currently located in beautiful sunny NE Utah.
