If you are searching for an unmolested. unhampered. unhacked. complete original true patina Jeep…. you found it. Purchased in California Original California blue and yellow license plate from 1984 Original California title from 1984 Original owners manual Original paint (no accidents or touchups) Original interiorOriginal tilt wheelOriginal radio delete option when bought new Original inline 6 motor with 118. 00 miles. (that’s an average of 3800 miles a year) Original metal all around. Original FACTORY spare tire (with the direction sticker still on it) Original 20 gallon gas tank. Original 4 speed transmission Original factory DASHBOARD. (It was removed ONLY to give the jeep an older appearance for the dash. ) I think it looks way better without it. but I DO HAVE IT. This jeep is truly a time capsule. It represents a complete stock jeep that is pretty rare in itself. The pictures speak for themselves. The exterior is very clean and straight. Paint still shines nice. The interior shows very well also. All original material and upholstery. The tub is very clean with no rust holes. (see pictures without the carpet) The dash shines like new with all of its factory gauges installed. Items added that are not original: Warn wench. Very nice heavy duty wench with hand control unit Hardtop. When the original soft top wore out. it was replaced with the hardtop that is on it now. Thule roof racks added to the hardtop. I also have a BIKINI top and half doors that will be included with the sale. Four minor issues with this jeep. (1) the gas gauge sending unit WIRE became disconnected from the sending unit. I have the original wire. but it’s a tight fit to reinstall . (2) There is slight surface rust around the hood hinges leading edge and along 3 spots on the bottom of the windshield where the rubber seals to the frame. Very slight also on the front left fender seem. (3) Front drivers seat is what you see. (4) As you can see. the knob and wire for the air vent direction control is broken. It is set for the air to come out at your feet. This jeep runs and drives very well. Always garaged and well maintained. Motor is responsive and the transmission shifts effortlessly. Payment to be be received in the form of cash. cashiers check. wire transfer only. If you plan to pay with paypal. I am insisting on adding the 3% fee to the total sales price to cover my fee from paypal. I highly recommend an in-person inspection for I believe you will not be disappointed. Please due your due diligence prior to bidding on this Jeep. It is a collectors piece and should be treated as such. Feel free to ask me any questions prior to bidding.
