Description of 1975 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series

This car is a true Kansas field find. This rare Mercedes is one of the pre-release cars. The code is on the build tag. These cars were sent to the dealerships to help with the new model sales, it is titled as a 1975 but the production date shows it to be a 1974 model. This makes this car even rarer than a normal W114.Motor runs like a sewing machine, we brought the car home and cleaned it up and have been correcting the things that have failed over the last 20 years. New starter, new rear brakes and soft lines. Rebuilt the carburetor and replaced the fuel pump. It has a long way to go to show up at the local coffee and cars but there is a lot of potential for this car. I have too many projects and have decided to let this one go to concentrate on some of the others. Car is selling with no reserve so highest bidder wins.
