Description of 1975 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series

True barn find, 1975 Mercedes pre-release car. Codes were verified and this car is one of a handful that was sent as a pre release car. originally a silver car it is currently in blue paint. It doe run and drive, but have been told that the transmission is a little weak. New Starter and brakes on the rear, but the car needs more work to be street ready. This car is deserves to be restored and taken care of, but I have to many other projects ahead of it and have decided to let it go. The interior will need attention and there is some rust in the trunk spare tire well and a small patch in the passenger floor board. I am a car enthusiast and hate to see this car sit. It does not have the original carburetor it was replaced with a Holley and it was not with the car when I got it. I have had the car running and the engine is strong with no unusual noises.
