1956 Mercury Montclair Convertible Black RWD Automatic

1956 Mercury Montclair Convertible Black with white trim. Car was purchased in 1980’s was running and driven for approximately 1 year then parked in garage since. Car will need complete restoration but is all original ( unmolested). Car rolls. We put a battery in it just to check. Engine spins freely and appears to have compression. Front and rear lights work, brake light, parking, power windows were all clicking and appears rear windows would go up or down. Convertible top clicked. Radio,Clock,wipers did not work.transmission was rebuilt just before purchase but it is stuck in park so driveshaft is in truck so car can roll. It is up on all fours. As far as body shape. Straight other than half dollar size rust in outer rear quarters. Door jams and doors are fine. Look at pictures. Surface rust underneath. Noted spot in floorboard near foot pedal and in trunk bottom of spare tire holder but car is solid.

Spare parts include, new aftermarket gas tank, used seat frames front seat, nos dual mufflers, nos headlight cover, spare convertible top frame.
