Becoming a very rare collectible model with values on the rise. The MGA Roadster has been a favorite for British car enthusiasts for many years. The 1600's are considered the most desirable of the series. Transmission: 4 Speed (non syncro 1st gear) Color: Black with Black interior Mileage: 44,605 (Believed to be original) Title: Clear "Michigan" Title **I will be adding more pictures within the next few days.** The MGA has been garage stored for many years and has been unused for approximately the last 10 years. Showing only 44K miles which I was told was correct. It will need the mechanics gone through to make it roadworthy for the new owner. Under the hood: The MG mostly original an unmolested. A downdraft carburetor was added as an upgrade to the original SU's. I did install a battery and was surprised to hear the electric fuel pump operate. I confirmed that there was spark from the plugs, nd after spraying some starting fluid down the carb, was able to get the MG to fire up. It ran for about 30 seconds. I didn't go any further than that after I noticed oil leaking from an oil line on the passenger side. The headlights, ail lights and license plate lights are all in working condition. Surprisingly the blinkers are also still in working condition. Wipers work as well. Body: The body is in solid condition as shown in the pictures. The body rust is limited primarily to both the left and right rocker panels. Panel fit is good with no evidence of previous accident damage. Both the aluminum hood and trunk show many dings as shown in the pictures. Both doors close nicely without any of the typical issues of panel fit. Underneath looks solid without any major issues. Wood floors still in pretty good shape. Frame is solid. The trunk area is solid as well. Both bumpers are straight. Both lower front fenders are solid with no evidence of rust. Same for the rear quarters. The interior is in original condition as shown in the pictures. Has correct seats with white piping which are both in good original condition. Both door panels are in good condition. The carpet is worn/dried out. The battery cover behind the seats is missing. Passenger side upper door trim is missing. Dash is in good condition and has not been cut up. Has factory radio block off plate. Has correct factory Banjo Steering Wheel however it's barely holding together. The convertible top is in nice condition and fits well. Includes the original side curtains. Windshield in good condition with no cracks. ONCE AGAIN....LOW RESERVE AUCTION! **Please have your finds in order prior to bidding. **For the motivated buyer I will consider ending the auction early for a serious offer, owever I do not have a "Buy It Now" price set.
