1943 Oldsmobile. Title says 1943 however multiple people messaged me stating that it is a 42 due to WWII era production halts, so please use your judgement. Believe it would be a model Eight based on badges however I'm not 100% sure. Straight 8 engine, manual trans. Unknown if engine is seized or free, I did not mess with it. Body is in fair shape, as you can see in the pictures the floors will need some attention at the edges and the spare tire carrier in the trunk. Most of the front end sheet metal is missing. Doors seem to be a bit temperamental to latch when closed after opening them but I did not oil the latches. Interior has been home to woodland creatures but appears to be all there. Frame is nice, I did not notice any rot or damage but please look at the pictures and decide for yourself. Overall the car is a good base for a project or parts car, or you could have the coolest lawn art in your neighborhood. For a 1943 that has been sitting untouched for a long time it is fairly preserved. I have a clear PA title in previous owners name, it will be up to you if you want to contact them to transfer it. Now, for the fun stuff: Car is located in Lyons PA (near Kutztown, approximately 1 hour from Philadelphia.) Must be paid for and picked up within 7 business days of the auction's end unless arrangements are made prior to bidding. Cash only upon pickup, no electronic payments. If you are the winning bidder, you own it with no exceptions so please confirm with your wife, your dog, your banker, or whoever makes the financial decisions in your life that you are allowed to purchase this car prior to bidding. In person inspections by appointment are highly encouraged. I have a forklift that can assist with loading onto your trailer at your own risk. Any questions please feel free to ask. I will be listing a handful of other 50s and 60s project cars shortly, and I also have a large inventory of classic and late model parts so please check back frequently! Happy bidding!
