Description of 1939 Oldsmobile Other |
This is a 1939 Oldsmobile two door sedan which body is almost perfect and super super rare car. It has probably about 15-20000 worth of work already put into it. It has been channeled. subframe. and a nice gm posi-traction rear end and an x frame. It has coil springs on the front and rear. Who ever did the work had superb skills and that's no lie. You will need the two side grill inserts. front glass and some other things that I know is missing but 90 percent of the parts are there. Garnish moldings. headlights items. original seat all there. Floor pans have been redone with sheet metal but they are superb and only front two and rear two not complete floor but they are super nice. Running boards are ok but I would buy a new set. This is a great project that needs to be finished. It has a Mach 1 shifter in the floor with a fm tilt column and a mustang Mach 1 cluster and it has the original cluster also. It has a 350 engine and tranny. A person. An spend about in my opinion 5-7000 dollars and have a 35-40000 dollar car. It has a new set of tires and a super nice set of rims. disc brakes. In other words a 75 percent restored car that needs to be finished. Michael is my name call 24/7 with all questions because I'm sure I left some things off in the description and also rear fenders are thick fiber glass but you can not tell. 2000. 00Deposit is due 24 hours after auction ends and full payment within 72 hours after auction ends. Doors are almost perfect and there is really no body panel work to be done need a little work in trunk where a hold was cut but not major at all. Car is a 98 percent rust free car and it really on needs to align all panels block once and paint. finish wiring and interior to be re upholstered. |
