Description of 19540000 Other Makes Hudson Jet |
1954 Hudson Jet Liner ( these Hudson Jets were only made in 1953 and '54 ) . 202 c.i. Flathead 6 cylinder Engine with Manual Transmission . The Jetliner has had the following work done as part of the restoration: Rebuilt 202 engine, ebuilt OD tranny, lutch and brakes, ecored radiator, nd rewired for 12V. It also had new radial tires, -joints, nd rear end seals. A reputable body shop took the car down to bare metal, ade any necessary repairs, nd sealed it up with a beautiful coat of Daimler-Chrysler Viper Red and Viper White. It's an award-winning restoration with the biggest compliment not only being the shade of red, ut how straight the body is! . Great detail was taken in the restoration including coating both the under body and interior of roof. All new interior features tuck 'n roll high quality vinyl. Almost all of the chrome has been redone! Lots of before and during pictures and receipt documentation will be provided to the new owner. . Engine # is 261054 which does NOT match with the car's triangle plate on the passenger front door jam Serial # 280201 in case you wanted to know if all the numbers matched up. The engine came out of the 1953 Hudson Super Jet parts car we bought with this '54 Jetliner back in July 2004. At the time of purchase, he Jetliner was described as having already had the following work done: Rebuilt 202 engine, ebuilt OD tranny, clutch and brakes, ecored radiator, br>and rewired for 12V. It also had new radial tires, joints, nd rear end seals. We took it back down to bare metal and had a body shop to the restoration work with the exception of the interior, one by us. . Some spare parts will be included in the sale, ut there is also a resourceful Hudson-Essex-Terraplane club for any needs it may have in the future. The Jet's basic suspension and chassis features are similar to the bigger Hudsons of 1946-1957. Suspension is by coil springs at the front and leaf springs at back. Tubular shocks are used all around. Jets have a 105-inch wheelbase. . Call owner for more information: 253 970 0514 . |
