This museum quality street legal racer is entirely and professionally hand fabricated in very heavy gauge aluminum (body) with no fiberglass and powered by a professionally built and balanced 1928 Chevrolet four cylinder engine with an Oldsmobile three port cross flow head with a model B crank counter, armonically balanced with insert bearings and pressure oil system with high end aluminum racing pistons and Crower rods and a Jim Brierly cam shaft producing about 48 horse power taking this very light 1200 pound street rocket of speeds up to 100 mph!!! The Chevy Monoposto Racer has twin SU carbs and a 5 speed T5 transmission with a modern cluth and flywheel.
The rear end is a 1940 Ford with a 1937 Willys dropped front axle with 1948 Ford hubs and very heavy duty Kelsey Hayes 17" wheels with nearly new tires and cooled by a custom aluminum radiator with an electric fan and fluid recovery system that even the extreme arid Arizona summers couldn't tax the excellent cooling system! The vehicle is currently registered for street use and this car is fully street legal in all 50 states having installed fully functional brake lights and turn signals. Instrument cluster are tachometer, il pressure, ater temperature and ammeter.
