Description of 1954 Other Makes Hudson Jet

This 1954 Hudson Jet is a project I've been working on for several months. I've poured a ton of money into it because my 16 year old daughter wanted this as her first car. She's now living in California and there's no way I'm letting her drive it in LA traffic! She's finally agreed to sell the car and buy something else. The car is located in Oklahoma City. OK. I'm including pictures of how the car used to look before the body work was started. Please note that the chrome trim. hood ornament and "HUDSON" letters that appear on the front of the car are included. I've been working on the mechanics of the car to make it as reliable as possible. Here's the list of what I've replaced and repaired. * New tires * New brakes. Master Cylinder. and brake lines. All drums have been turned. * New radiator. water pump. hoses and belt * New shocks * New speedo cable * 4 new matching seat belts * Rebuilt starter * Rebuilt alternator * Refurbished & painted steering wheel * I've greased all the moving parts in the engine and under the body * I've installed lots of new wires to get the lights to work and the blinkers to blink. * The fuel gauge and water temperature gauge operate properly. and the dash lights illuminate. * New glass in all side windows (the windshield and rear glass are original. and in great shape) * New window whiskers and rail guides * New inner / outer tie rods I've also changed all fluids (oil. brake. transmission. & rear diff). The automatic transmission operates properly. I'm sure I've left off several other things I've replaced. I need to go through the huge stack of receipts that will come with this car to see what else I've done. The license plate is up-to-date and good until February of 2015. Basically. all that needs to be done is a little body work and a new paint job. This is a very classic car that turns heads every time I take it out for a spin. As explained. all the chrome is there and can be easily attached after the car is painted. I also have extra chrome pieces (grill and dash). This car has lived in California.
