1969 AMC Javelin with an original steel 1970 hood (worth big $$) and I believe 1970 fender extensions and 1970 front bumper. Still has most of the rare cold air induction parts inside the hood. Built 343ci motor with 4 speed manual trans. Not your run of the mill Javelin or stock 305 Camaro or 302 Mustang. Built 343ci. This thing rips. Take it to Irwindale Speedway Thursday nights and shake the earth. Rebuilt title. Not sure if it was ever hit or not. Title was lost 2 owners ago and then they applied for a title and told the mvd inspector that 1970 front fender extensions, 1970 front bumper and 1970 induction hood conversion was done (that everyone does to these cars to have the look of the 1970 induction hood) so mvd person gave it a rebuilt title. Or so goes the story. I don't think the car was originally black. I see some cardinal red and some green on the firewall, so black is maybe the 3rd color this car has been in the last 54 years. The prior owner that painted it black, worked at a paint shop so he did a pretty decent job on it and I think the car was his baby/pride. A nice black paint job like this at the cheapest shop now a days will cost you over $5000. Full payment due within 3 days in the form of cash or a wire transfer. Please pick the car up within 14 days from Payson, AZ 85541. A 75 mile uber ride from Phoenix Sky harbor airport. Power steering Power brakes front disc brakes originally an A/C car (not complete anymore) 4 speed manual trans rear posi Dana 20 3.15 gears 343ci V8 Crane Cam 864441 Roller rockers Aluminum intake 4 bbl Holley Carb Headers Optima Battery Runs and drives and idles well. Pretty nice black paint and body. I notice a ding near the driver side door handle today. Missing headliner fabric. Interior could use some help. Even just a new carpet kit would make it look much nicer. RH tail light has a crack. Windows are off track. Priced accordingly. Fast car. Very fun to drive. Can be driven anywhere in any weather. Unsure what the accurate miles are on the car since it is so old and the title reflects that. Slight exhaust leak noise from the header gasket. No radio, dash has cracks on passenger side, ignition lock cylinder isn't mounted to the dash, missing turn signal switch. New: Tires Starter Alternator Headers (expensive)Fuel tank with sending unit and straps $690+upper control arm bushings Full brand new exhaust $1200+ with side exits just below rear wheels, professionally done, looks and sounds nice. Carb kit (carb still needs more adjusting) Front brake pads (and front brake rotors turned)
