Description of 1940 Packard 110 Club Coupe |
The Packard 110 had a relatively short production period of just two years. Introduced in 1940 it replaced the Packard Six. The 110 had a shorter wheelbase than the Six and also an inline six cylinder engine. It was available as a sedan, wagon, convertible and coupe with a few variations. The 110 proved to be just what the company needed to meet sales and keep them afloat during the hard economic times before the war. GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1940 Packard 110 Club Coupe by recent way of Florida. This 110 is powered by a 245ci inline flathead six cylinder engine which is paired to a 3 speed column shift. The exterior of the vehicle is very clean and straight with great paint. It sports a working spotlight as well as amber driving lights, turn signals, and added reverse lights. The interior has recently been completely redone to the tune of over 9K and is immaculate. The polished wood veneer on the dash and windows glistens and is in excellent shape. The original Packard De Luxe heater is intact as well. This Packard 110 Club Coupe is an excellent example of a prewar car that runs and drives as good as it looks. Whether you want to attend car shows or simply cruise a true classic on Sundays, this Packard has you covered. |
