1971 Plymouth Barracuda, central California car it's entire life. Have clean title. Original paint with no body damage. There are no signs that this vehicle has ever had any body repairs. Car was placed in covered storage in 1989 and taken out 2 months ago. Original 318 engine and transmission were removed in 1988 and sold, otherwise the car is complete except for rear window outside molding and radiator. This car had a vinyl top which caused rust through in driver side A pillar (see pics) and rust through in the cowl at A pillar base on both driver and passenger sides (see pics). The rust through is confined to these small areas. Also, there must have been some rust through around the rear window as the previous owner of the car used fiberglass to attempt to repair it, but the inner structural/double panel and package tray are rust free so rust was minimal and confined to the area immediately surrounding the rear window (see pics) which is typical for a vinyl top car. Also, previous owner fiberglassed the quarter/roof seam to fill and smooth it. The floor pans and trunk floor are in excellent condition and the only rust is surface rust (see pics). Door bottoms are rust free and doors close solid and tight. No rust in lower quarters, rockers or fenders. Hood has some small holes drilled in it where someone has previously installed a hood scoop but can easily be welded up. There is another very clean rust free hood available, but is for sale separately. Car is a factory console shift and the console including the wood grain inlay is in excellent condition. Bumpers are in excellent condition. Grille in good condition (has small crack in center in filler area immediately behind bumper). Glass is all original Chrysler. Early ET mags go with car. Have original owner information and build tag attached to rear seat (see pics). Although I am listing this auction with as many pictures as ebay allows in order to document and represent this car as accurately as possible, I do have more pictures of the car available upon request. The reserve on the auction is for $15,000. For any questions and further information regarding the car you may call Bill at (209) 943-7481. I will not tolerate bid blocking/bid guarding scammers. Reserve on car is $15,000. No derelict bidders. Please do not bid if you are not a serious buyer. If you have a low feedback score you will have to contact me or Bill to bid or I will cancel your bid. If there is any other cause for me to question the validity of the bid/bidder I will cancel your bid. Sorry if this causes any inconvenience but unfortunately some of the individuals in the ebay communityare lacking integrity.
