This auction is for a 1936 Plymouth P2 5-Window coupe. in a 1950's Style street rod with a 2-1/2" chop in flat black paint. Bucket seats. Crank out front window. all steel body. including original running boards. Original gauges restored by United Speedometer & converted/calibrated to 12 volt system. The gauges were silk-screened & show 160 MPH. originally 100. Installed 1949 Ford Blue-dot taillights. in which are frenched in just like the license plate. Motor:1967 327 small block Chevrolet · Comp Cams 280 with roller tip rockers · 10. 25 compression forged pistons · 4-Bolt main · Forged crank. which was also turned & machine balanced · Camel hump heads · factory Winters Dual Quad aluminum intake · Heads were ‘cc’ and hardened valve seats installed · Block has been line bored · Cylinder walls bored . 030” over from factory original specs · Engine has extensive machine work. rods resized & shot peened · 2 Eldebrock 500 cfm carb's · Hooker block hugger headers with ceramic coated Undercarriage: · Turbo 400 transmission equipped with Transco Shift kit. · 10-bolt posi rear end professionally built by Randy's Rack & Pinion (Everett. WA) · Mustang II front suspension with Flame & River rack & pinion manual steering · Front disc/rear drum brakes · Adjustable coil-over shocks on the rear Also installed: · ‘It’s a Snap’ wire harness on a 12-volt system · Original AM radio. 100% restored. but 6-volt powered · Brand new Coker tires on 15” wheels with moon caps. have flipper caps if you want This car has not been cut up like a lot of others of this year. it is ready to go! |
