1986 Toyota Turbo 4cyl 4X4. Previous owner played hard but took good care of the truck. It sat outside on asphalt all year round, but it didn't help. The frame is rusted through on the driver side front spring mount. The truck saw lots of snow time, and it shows. I garage kept it. I was going to sell just the engine, but there are so many things needed to convert a standard re to turbo the whole truck needs to go. The turbo works. The boost light works. The dipstick in the picture does have oil on it:) I changed it about 300 miles ago. It's a reliable DD. Replaced starter and alternator on it about 2K ago. New front calipers, rotors, pads. I have brand new rear drums/cylinders/shoes didn't install them but they will come with the truck. Rear brake proportioning valve does work as far as I can tell. As a turbo truck it has those huge rear drums. The tires have good tread but are dry rotted, and will need to be disposed of. Front wheels are functional but have dings on the inside. They were corroded to the hubs. They have those fake rivets and some of them are falling off. Miles in the picture are real except that the truck has over sized tires (31's or 33's I think). Oil pressure and temp in the picture. Have mechanical gauge for it but never installed it. Exhaust is shot, still has cat. All glass is good. All lights work, except when you put it in reverse it screws up the tail lights. Our squirrel electricians in the area have a bad rep. I fixed the exposed wiring. Clutch will need to be changed soon. Parking brake works. Gas gauge might work, never hooked it back up. I always keep it full. Front steering idle arm needs replaced. That said, my intention is SELLING THE TRUCK FOR THE ENGINE. The truck can be driven a fair distance for delivery. Only worried about the tires they may come apart. Gets great fuel mileage as long as you keep it out of the turbo. I know it's a common problem of these motors, but I am unaware of the condition of the exhaust manifold. The truck runs good, I'm not going to remove the shielding to see if its cracked. There are several reasons I'm selling it. I want a 01 through 04 Sidekick/Tracker in good condition 4 or 6cyl. Therefore I'm selling this truck and one of my Odysseys. This truck is my third vehicle and I'm single. Too much stuff. I enjoyed driving this truck just the way it is, I bought it from my friend. There will be no local sell over this truck, so you don't have to worry about having the listing just disappear. Sale is final. Title is in my hand. I live in Northeastern Indiana. Near Fort Wayne. I can help arrange shipping to some degree. Otherwise it's buyers responsibility. Bitcoin and Paypal accepted.
