Description of 1973 Triumph TR-6 |
Just rebuilt in late 2013 with 9200 miles on since. Pics of entire restoration are available, ransmission rebuilt; overdrive rebuilt; looks to be about 95 point car (owner judged Concours for British sports cars); engine had following performed: Grose jets on carbs; electronic ignition; 3 way valve job; teflon guides; compression upped to 9.5 to 1 and has about 15 to 20 additional horsepower over stock engine; and is running Evans waterless coolant for automobiles, hich is an FAA mandated coolant used on several aircraft (I am a commercial pilot). This runs cooler and is never changed for the life of the engine and since there is no water involved, he interior of the engine (water pump, tc.) never corrodes. The engine, n south Florida summer with air condx turned on in city traffic, uns one-half to two-thirds on temp gauge - Upgraded steering wheel and walnut instrument panel, eriod correct redline tires, ew interior, ery nice. Much, uch more below about rebuild specifics: ...Okay, ere we go with specifics... All numbers documented with a certificate which goes with the car, ics of restoration, ll emails between seller and myself are included, ocuments, eceipts, itle copies... everything I have connected with the car is included. All numbers and dates have been verified and documented, he documentation records are included, s well. STORY OF THE CAR: The owner bought this from a man named Fred (last name can be furnished) near Daytona Beach who restores TR6s, ags, ealeys, tc. He told me that this car was owned by an attorney who went thru a divorce and sold the car to his wife who basically let it sit. Fred restored it, hen sold it to me...how many owners does that make? I see that as a 2 owner car. Let us know if interested, e can send a lot of stuff over to you but please, erious inquiries only!
