Great vehicle for a true collector. I bought this 82 diesel Westfalia in Florida about a year and a half ago and drove it home to New Mexico. It is in good running shape. I've put over $1000.00 in electrical work into it which has been nice. The canvas on the canopy is free of tears and the screen and shade zippers all work as seen in photos. The upholstery and carpets are free from tears and holes. The sink needs a new hand pump (usually $15.00 or so). I have never lit the stove but the tank and plumbing are in tact. The fridge electric works but it can be run on propane as well but I have not tried that. Overall it is quite clean inside and out. The chassis is in good shape. The body has some small rust damages in places but it is not bad or structural and I have included a picture of the worst area. The engine is in good working order. As I said I drove it from Florida to New Mexico. However, t is an 82 diesel. It is very slow and very smokey but if you're interested in this model then you already knew that.
