1966 V.W. Baja "Bug Eye" Bug. This car spent most of it's life in California. It features fiberglass fenders, front hood, and front clip. It was converted to a Baja early in it's life and has many early V.W. tuner upgrades to the engine and chassis including solid mounted engine and transaxle mounts (aluminum), rear air shocks, Cragar rims with wheel adapters, buggy steering wheel, bucket seats, as well as the following engine mods:-1970 1600 duel port engine-under drive alloy pulleys with sand seal-ratio rockers with performance valve springs, retainers, and keepers-chromoly pushrods-alloy valve covers-holley 5200 progressive carb-accell coil-pertronix electronic distributer -headers and glass pack exhaust This car is in great shape and is not a rag like many Baja bugs. With the exception of the steering wheel and seats the interior is all original and in nice shape. The rear deck lid is the original steel lid that has been trimmed. The car has been converted to 12 volts and has newer battery, v belt, k&n air intake filter, swing axle boots, tie rod ends, and recent full car tune up and service.
