Factory built TR8. Restored and modified about 10k miles ago. The aluminum V8 has been enlarged to 4.6 L., check out "the wedge shop" most parts were bought from them. "The Wedge Shop has been a leader in modification and performance in the Triumph world for the past 20 years."Modifications include Wilwood brakes, Compomotive wheels(15"), upgraded lowering springs,KYB shocks, Dual Borla mufflers and additional resonators for a mellow sound. The engine has a 4 barrel aluminum intake with a Holley carb., there are headers(no cats), and an aluminum radiator. The interior was redone with new carpet and seat covers, beautiful Moto-Lita steering wheel.. The convertible roof is made with canvas style material and is in excellent condition. Original green color has been redone in a darker shade of green, often mistaken for black. Cons - passenger door was replaced at some point and it has started to bubble in the lower corners, easy fix.
