Description of 1961 Buick Electra

One of the rarest GM bubbletops you will find with 4250 being produced. This car is powered by its original 401 motor which was rebuilt in the late 90's. I have the receipts to show this and the car runs fantastic with no smoke etc. Transmission is a 2spd dynafow that does not shift on its own but works fine shifted manually or when left in drive as I sometimes do. It does not slip in the slightest and will burn the rear tire off if you want it to. Dual exhaust with what sounds like glass paks. brand new tires-old ones were dry rotted on sidewalls. Comes with original spare. Car was painted 1 time in 2013/2014. Interior is in excellent shape with some of the inside plastic chrome a bit faded or missing. This car has the mirrormatic speedo and speed warning that still works!Car sold as is with no warrantyThis car is being listed for sale solely for the fact I have too many classics at this time to store properly.
