1968 Chyrsler 300 2dr hardtop AZ desert survivor
What a sled ! Green on Green I ALSO HAVE A VIDEO LINK TO IT RUNNING, ON YOUTUBE EMAIL ME FOR THE LINK IF YOU DONT SEE IT AT THE BOTTOM AFTER THE PICS FAIR RESERVE ...bid on it to win ! Runs and by runs, I mean it starts easy with starting fluid and then runs off an E fuel pump and fresh gas supplied under the hood with a small fuel temp fuel source. the motor sounds great and no blue smoke or blow-by. That being said, it will prob need a carb rebuild, tune up and possibly the gas tank drained and cleaned.but has not been a daily driver for yrs. I cant imagine that more then a few hundred are still on the road. THIS is nice rust free Az car and will put a smile on your face every time you go out to work on it. I think it would RESTO-MOD very well or just do a nice original restoration on it over time

Ebay offers our Feedback rating for a reason,... try trusting it. BRIEF DESCRIPTION: This MOPAR has been in Az for many moons, possibly its whole life. It was retired and parked about 25 yrs ago. Not sure why.We cleaned it up and got it ready to run. With a little work it fired up and sat there and idled. We are currently running it off an E fuel pump and its own fuel source under the hood to move it. PS works fine. Exhaust is missing from the Y pipe back, so its loud. When its cold it starts easier with a shot of starting fluid, but after that one time it starts pretty easy on its own. Radiator is missing, so I dont let it run too long, just enough to move it around the yard and to get some pics. Az has been hard on the plastic and rubber but the body, floors and frame are 90% rot free. We did find rust in the trunk pan. All the glass is good too except for the windshield has a crack. Starts up well when cold and runs okay, but Im sure it will need a tune up.Tires are mismatched and old. Body is fairly clean, whats left of the original Green paint has a nice patina to it. Interior showing alot of wear. Brakes work enough to move it around. Prob good idea to bleed them again. RF Corner wont bleed at the moment. SEE PLENTY OF PICS BELOW TO SEE THE STORY. MUCH MORE INFO BELOW ITS NOT RESTORED it is a used car and could use some restoration.
DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND BUILD ANYWAY YOU WANT, NO HARM NO FOUL ! Excellent Investment / Clean Clear Arizona Title If you have under 10 feedbacks, Ill be emailing you if you bid to make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid. Up for Auction: I wont end it early, sorry.
DRIVETRAIN: Under the hood is very complete for the most part, and very original 440 4v motor. An aftermarket carb has replaced the oe carter unit. Motor sounds good and Ive driven it up and down the street, trans shifts fine too. Brakes need prob a rf wheel cylinder, cant get it to bleed. Factory PB AC and PS car too. PS works great. I didnt even notice any leaks under the car. Radiator is missing, yes.
INTERIOR: take a look at the pics, the cars been in AZ pretty much its whole life and the interior mostly complete, needs ALOT ofrestoring here too. The floors are very solid inside and out. Much of the vinyl isdilapidatedyes, but restorable. All 4 windows roll up and down but the tracks are very dry. Expect the interior to be very dry and old. Think all the gauges work in the dash too, they moved when it was running and drove it up the street. I found part of the build sheet in the rear seat and it comes with the car. Also a good used radio bezel comes with the car loose. Glove box wont latch and car comes with trunk and ignition key. Interior courtesy lights work too.
EXTERIOR:the body has a few dings and dents around it. Dr side mostly, check out all the pics.Whats left ofthe paint, is 40+ yrs of mother nature doing what she does best to old enamel paint in the Az climate. Rest of the body is in decent shape as is the stainless trim around the car. They dont make cars like this anymore, and its sad. But this one will live on thats for sure. RF fender has had some repair and corner extension is missing (but I found one, and trying to get it before the car ships) Headlight doors are disconnected prob due to the motor not working. The headlights, tails and brakelights work. Car use to have a vinyl top, lots of surface rust on top but easily removed and redone or painted. Just as is, it commands alot of attention. Even AS IS people love it. SUSPENSION:the suspension looks pretty much like the way it came from the factory and complete. Im sure some of the bushings are dry rot, and but Im sure the buyer has bigger plans for it. BEST part about the suspension, Torsion Bar front end :) Give it the rake it deserves. Some 20s tucked under these fenders would look very choice. Check out ALL the pics below ----->
it may take a full minute for them all to load ifyou have a slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scrollbar on the right side. OR EMAIL ME if you cant see them all. Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate, more infoAFTER the pics etc. There are 100 large pics.
Probably The BEST represented MOPARS on Ebay. Shows you all the good as well as any bad. We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars.People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks. Survivors are getting harder to find ! Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating. People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.

It was retired and put away about 5 yrs ago --and more under a load. Ive had one of these before make the noise and it turned out to be the AC compressor. Its a 400 V8 auto car. Wide as hell and Az has been hard on the plastic and rubber but the body, floors and frame are 90% rot free. All the glass is good too except for the windshield, I think it has a crack. Ill double check. Starts up well when cold and runs okay, but Im sure it will need a tune up and prob some carb work. After it warms up and I drive it, its a little harder to start, but it does. Battery is decent.
