Originally born in Sherman Oaks California and customized at "The House of Z" this unique 240 z version features super solid bones, perfect floors, many new parts and several custom modifications. It also features gorgeous brand new front and rear bumpers and an entirenew interior, it now needs only a paint job since last painted when converted in 1980, the rear spoiler has just been removed to make room for a gorgeous new 3 piece version.

Always raring to go this Z features a 1981 280 zx N-42 Block with E-31 Head and Mild Cam with Headers into a straight back exhaust into a thrush muffler and dual Monza exhaust tips for an unreal throaty sound in every gear!

The engine bay is super clean and has louvered hood inspection lids, chrome flame thrower coil, an electronic distributor Ignition, high output oil pump, heavy duty aluminum radiator with rarestock metal cooling fan, a custom made lower valance, all brand New Bushings everywhere Front to Rear including mustache bars, inner roll bar with twin underbody steel reinforcement frame bars, front steering tension/Compression Rod kit, a lightened flywheel with 5 speed transmission & close ratio differential, all new brakes a to z including booster and master cylinder, 4 Brand new tires 225-60-r15 on rare vintage 15 x 8.5 centerline "warrior" wheels.

The interior is in mint condition and features a comfortable 13'' inch racing steering wheel, a deluxe padded armres, Ultra comfortable and fully adjustable lumbar seats, left and right gorgeous clean door panels with a rare drivers side inner door pull handle, it also has, all new 2 inch deluxe sound proofing under padding everywhere up to the fire wall, brand new carpet throughout includingthe into the locking trunk, a brand new black custom snap on convertible top that stores efforlessly, there are also hidden removable aux driving lights, beautiful left and right chrome sport mirrors, all gauges perform as does the heat with a strong blowing fan, both doors close and lock tight as does the trunk, the glass all around is extremely clean with both windows rolling up into tight new weather stripping for a secure fit, all chrome trim shows super clean and is neatly fitted.

This unique Z modelis turn key and a blast to drive with it's top off, it is tuned up perfectly therefore is great on gas, it is also definately the coolest temperature running Z we have ever owned!

This Z hot rod, once painted, with the addition of a rear spoiler and perhaps side fender flares will have a villain, mad max appearance, even a hot wheels paint job would add to it's mystic.
