Description of 1953 DeSoto Powermaster

I've had this car since 1989. where I bought it off a old man down in Texas. Did not drive it much over the last 10 years. and need the space. So it's time to part with it. There are two chrome pieces missing in the pics. but are with the car. Has a new 6V Battery installed. Tires are radials which improved the ride and driving by at least 50%. Has always been garage kept since I bought the car and was lifted about 3' off the concrete during the winter months of storage. The tires have no flat spots and are like new. There is a spare tire and the original jack with the tie down in the truck. Forgot to take pics of that. Starts easy and is a joy to drive. The transmission is clutch 2 speed. but a automatic for stopping at stop signs. I was told it was for the old ladies. stopping and taking off with out using the clutch. Older people are familiar with this early automatic. so ask anyone over 70. They should remember and tell you about it. The cab heater has a valve to shut off the heat in the summer. blows nice heat in the cooler months when opened. A shop manual. a few new replacement parts. and will also include a 6V only charger. as in the pic. will also be with the car. This is the last 6V car I have. so I do not need it anymore. I am asking for a $500 dollar deposit payable thru Paypal. within 48 hours of the auction close.
