1941 Lincoln Continental Coupe. Listed on behalf of the owner. Located near PORTLAND, OREGON. The first-generation Lincoln Continental is one of the all-time classic automotive designs. Far ahead of their time, these cars were coveted by society and Hollywood types back in the day, and now are favorites of classic car enthusiasts. This car received a high level restoration some years ago, and presents beautifully today. The body was painted in a beautiful bright maroon. All chrome was re-plated and trim polished. The interior was reupholstered in gray leatherette with red carpet and headliner. A striking combination that compliments the sporty elegance of this car. Optioned with radio (not working at present) and working factory heater/defroster. Turn signals. Front seat belts. Please see photos, that were just taken for this listing. Mechanically this Lincoln is excellent. The original 292 cubic inch Lincoln V-12 engine was fully rebuilt, with solid valve lifters. 7.2:1 compression, rated at 120 HP. Original 6 volt electrical system upgraded with new wiring and new 6 volt alternator for bright lights at all speeds and improved charging. Plus two Optima 6 volt batteries wired in parallel to produce 1600 cold cranking amps for positive starting in all conditions. Runs quiet with plenty of power at all speeds. COLUMBIA TWO-SPEED DIFFERENTIAL for easy highway cruising! Brakes recently serviced with new master cylinder installed. Electric fuel pump installed to assist mechanical pump when needed. Newer matching Firestone 7.00x16 wide whitewall tires. This car is the recent veteran of two Classic Car Club of America 1,000+ mile tours in 2014 and 2016.
