The 1959 Plymouth Belvedere 2 Door Hardtop continued the famed Chrysler designer Virgil Exner's legacy as one of the best designs of its time, ith the art deco tall rear fins and massive bumpers. The new added torsion bar suspension made the Plymouth ahead of its time in ride and handling. These finned cars rarely become available for sale and have become very rare and desirable. This Belvedere is mostly original with one repaint back to its original colors of Iceberg White and Emerald Green Poly. The body is super straight and solid. The paint is about 15 years old and still has a great shine and shows very well with few wear and age flaws. The chromebumpers are in very nice condition as is the stainless. The interior is the original pattern and material and is in excellent condition, ncluding factory padded dash. The Belvedere is equipped with optional FactoryPower Steering, ower Brakes, orque Flight Push Button Automatic transmission and a 318 V8. The frame, loor pans, runk pan, nd inner rockers are super solid. (See detailed pictures of undercarriage) All glass is good and works properly. The Polished T-Thrust wheels and speed rated tires were recently added to give the Plymouth a more current look. (18x8 front and 18x9 rear) (original Wide White tries, heels and hub caps are available if prefer instead of Polished wheels) This Belvedere runs, drives, nd stops nicely. Please take time to look at all the pictures and you will see how nice a car this is. If you are tired of all the Tri 5'S, ustangs, and Camaros, aybe this Rare and Unique Plymouth is for you. As Usual the Plymouth will be sold as is, here is, ithout warranty neither expressed written or implied. If you are in the area please come and inspect this classic in person before auction end.
